The MiniMed Paradigm 522 insulin pump uses a scientific "insulin action curve" to protect you from low blood glucose (hypoglycemia) by factoring in the amount of active insulin left in your body.

Continuous Glucose Monitoring System:

Now you can monitor your glucose levels in real time with the glucose sensor and MiniLink™ Transmitter components. The MiniMed Paradigm 522 Insulin Pump displays REAL-Time data that would help you control your glucose level more effectively.

Small and Lightweight:

Model 522 measures 2 x 3 x 0.8 inches, and weighs only 100 grams. It's like carrying a cell phone!

Bolus dosing made easy! Based on personal settings, food intake, and current blood glucose value, the Bolus Wizard Calculator will suggest an appropriate and personalized bolus dose.

Adjustable Active Insulin Curves

The Minimed Paradigm 522 is able to adjust active insulin curves between 2 to 8 hours in duration. The pump defaults to six hours (which most closely represents the recent scientific data).

CareLink™ Personal Therapy Management Software for Diabetes

This software gathers data from your Minimed Paradigm 522 pump, blood glucose meters, and online logbook to help you manage your diabetes and uncover patterns.

The NovaMax Link Meter

The Nova Max Link Blood Glucose Meter communicates wirelessly with the Minimed Paradigm pump.
