Product Description:

SoloSite Wound Gel by Smith & Nephew creates a moist wound environment, preventing eschar formation and promoting fast, painless and problem free healing. Sloughy and necrotic tissue must be removed before healing can progress. Solosite Gel gently rehydrates these tissues to encourage healing. Ref # 449600

Features:

Absorbs excess exudate. This halts the build-up of cellular derbris therefore helping to prevent slough formation
Unlike gels formulated with water miscible polymers, SoloSite's water "swellable" polymer remains gel-like until saturated, so it stays in the wound longer and requires fewer dressing changes
Contains effective preservatives to prevent the risk of increased infection
Creates a moist wound environment
Non-cytotoxic
Preserved for multi-dose dispensing

Solosite Wound Gel is ideal for treatment of both shallow and deep wounds. People suffering from Chronic lesions such as pressure sores and leg ulcers may experience delayed healing due to the presence of necrotic and sloughy tissue and are encouraged to use Solosite Gel. Also ideal for granulated wounds.
