    The Jarrow Formulas Alpha Lipoic Sustain 300 is made in a bilayer Quick Release/Sustained Released format. This maximizes blood levels and minimizes gastric irritation and sugar fluctuations. Alpha Lipoic Acid is a lipid and soluble antioxidant that is a cofactor in energy production. This helps to regulate glucose metabolism. Alpha Lipoic Acid also promotes the synthesis of glutathione. Includes Biotin. 60 bilayer tablets

    This product takes full advantage of the advanced bilayer technology. It combines 1/3 Quick Release and 2/3 Sustained Release formats to both immediately raise and maintain blood levels for a longer period of time.
    Ingredients
    Biotin - 333 mcg
    Alpha Lipoic Acid - 300 mg

    Other Ingredients:
    Polyacrylate polymer, calcium phosphate, cellulose, stearic acid, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, vanilla and beet root powder (for color).

    Jarrow Sustain tablets contain Alpha Lipoic Acid which helps regulate glucose metabolism by converting glucose into energy. It also contains Biotin which can increase the strength of hair and nails. Because it is in two layers, one for immediate release and one for sustained release, there is much less chance for stomach irritation. Alpha Lipoic Acid is also an antioxidant that will neutralize free radicals which are dangerous to the body. Tell your M.D. about taking any supplements.
