    Stevia produces sweet substances called steviol glycosides. These substances are stevioside, rebaudioside A, rebaudioside C and dulcoside A. In traditional stevia plants, the natural ratio produced by the leaves are 60% stevioside, 30% rebaudioside A and 10% rebaudiside C and dulcoside.     Stevita Spoonable Single Serve Stevia in the 50/box packets is a wonderful alternative to sugar. It tastes like sugar but this natural sugar substitute will not impact your glucose levels. Part of the Stevia comes from a sugar alcohol called, Erythritol which has a zero glycemic index so there's no effect on glucose levels.
