    Zostrix foot cream has the highest level of capsaicin in an OTC product at .075%. Capsaicin, found in chili peppers is a natural active component that can help with the pain from peripheral neuropathy. It is greaseless and odorless and should be applied with the single use applicators. Zostrix may cause a warm or burning sensation at the beginning but will decrease with repeated use. Do not place on open skin or near eyes and wash hands after use to prevent burning on mucous membranes.
